On July 2, the Group officially opened its new plant in Legnica (Poland) for the production of aluminum trim parts. The new 13,000 square meter plant will ultimately have almost 300 employees helping to produce aluminum trim parts for vehicle interiors (instrument panels, center consoles, door panels).
This type of trim is in increasing demand from automakers, who want to offer their customers premium interiors with an increased level of customization. The new Legnica plant, equipped with the most advanced production technologies, should strengthen Faurecia's position among the leaders in this growth market.
