MAN Bus Starachowice plant has welcomed the first body structure of a double-decker bus brought from MAN’s plant in Plauen, Germany.
The structure will be used as the basis for designing the production process for such buses at the Starachowice plant. In accordance with its permit obtained last September, Man Bus Sp. z o.o. Starachowice will launch production of two new types of bus: a Premium-class coach and a city double-decker. The bus maker has agreed to invest PLN 26 million by mid-2015 and employ 50 new people by the end of April 2011.
