ronal_logoWałbrzych will be the location of Ronal’s, the German manufacturer of alloy rims, third manufacturing facility in Poland. The project is valued at EUR 114 million.

The construction of the 44,000 sq m facility will begin in mid-November this year. – “We expect that the new facility to be located within the Invest-Park Special Economic Zone in Wałbrzych will launch production at the beginning of the second quarter of 2013,” says Krzysztof Brosig, Board President of Ronal Polska. - “Once we get the plant to run at full capacity, it will make 2.5 million rims every year and employ 480 people.”

Ronal Polska has been in existence since 1995. The Wałbrzych facility launched production in May 1997. It employs 480 people and its maximum annual output is 2 million rims. In Poland, Ronal also operates a manufacturing facility in Jelcz-Laskowice, where production was launched in 2002. Currently, the head count is 750 people. The Jelcz plant’s maximum annual output is 3 million rims.

It’s worth mentioning that the Wałbrzych plant has, incessantly since 2006, been ranked among Ford’s best suppliers, which is proved by the plant winning The World of Excellence Award every year.
