Hamburger Pini, SFB Polska and Nord Farm were granted permits to start business activity in the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
The projects will create 178 new jobs.
Hamburger Pini will invest over PLN 60 mln to construct a meat processing plant in the Kutno subzone of the Łódź SEZ. The company will thus create 135 new jobs.
The second company, SFB Polska wants to build a factory in which the investor will manufacture spare parts for the automotive industry e.g. Volvo, Mercedes, Renault, Man, Daf i Scania. The facility will be located in the Ostrzeszów sub zone. The project will cost PLN 4 million and will create 13 jobs. Nord Farm wants to situate its production, office and laboratory facilities in the Koluszki subzone of the SEZ. The company will install modern production lines for the production of food supplements and medicinal products. Investment outlays in the project reach PLN 4.8 million. Thanks to the project the company will employ 30 people.
Since the beginning of 2011 12 companies have received permits to conduct business activity in the Łódź SEZ. The total value of investment projects developed in the SEZ this year is PLN 487 million. Investors declared to create 446 new jobs.
