Dayco, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of engine components including a broad range of belts, tensioners and pulleys, is pleased to announce the opening of a production plant in Poland. The newly-constructed plant is located in Tychy, in the Katowice Special Economic Zone. In this location, Dayco will produce pulleys and dampers for the most popular original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers in Europe. In the future, Dayco will employ 300 employees at the modern production plant, which sits on 20.000 m2.
Production at the plant is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2013. Currently, the intensive recruitment processes for all departments are taking place, particularly for engineering and technical positions, as well as production. In 2013, Dayco Poland in Tychy plans to hire 100 employees.“We are looking for specialists with knowledge of machining processes, plastic metal forming and vulcanization. But more than anything, we are looking for people with passion, with teamwork attitude, candidates who want to build a new company and are not afraid to take new challenges.
