In August, General Motors Manufacturing Poland (GMMP)’s factory in Gliwice saw its output rise for another month in a row.
More than 7.6 thousand vehicles rolled off the plant’s assembly lines in August, up by 637.35 percent compared to a year earlier. Since the Gliwice plant ceased production of Zafira’s last July, the majority of the vehicles made by the plant have been Astra IV’s, which accounted for 92 percent of all the vehicles made in Gliwice in August.

In the eight months of this year, the Opel factory in Gliwice assembled 101.8 thousand vehicles, up by 67.62 percent compared to a year ago.
