On May 21 this year the Council of Ministers adopted a regulation amending the regulations on the Legnica Special Economic Zone. The SEC will cover areas located in Legnica, Legnickie Pole, Polkowice, Głogów, Kostomłoty and Miłkowice.
Faurecia Legnica Sp. z o.o. Is planning anew investmen project comprising the implementation of new production lines for the manufacture of innovative automotive products, used in premium brand automobiles such as BMW and Audi. This project is expected to contribute to the creation of 175 new jobs, with capital expenditures in the amount of PLN 24.60 mln. 166 jobs will be maintained. The anticipated project completion date is December 31, 2015.
Sitech Sp. z o.o. is planning to implement modern technology solutions in Głogów, to produce improved car seat racks. The project should provide at least 32 new jobs with the incurred capital expenditures amounting to PLN 20.1 million. 67 full time job posts will be maintained. The estimated project completion date is December 31, 2017.
